Permanent
Cosmetic Makeup is a very precise, intense procedure. The
different techniques are done to the facial area. A
micro-surgical instrument has been designed specifically for
these implantations. The procedure compares more to electrolysis
than to tattooing. It's not nearly as deep as electrolysis and
in tattooing, many needles are in a line, moving up and down,
while the tattooist "draws" quite deep. In
micro-pigment implantations, a probe just barely penetrates the
skins surface, usually planting one dot of pigment at a time.
The touch is so delicate; it can almost be wiped off. The area
must be dealt with very gently for about one week, while it
'heals' over. The completed look is very natural and actually
looks better than cosmetic makeup.
Permanent
Cosmetic Makeup is not a one-step process and will not always be
a perfect match. Pigment needs to be layered-in over multiple
visits. Natural undertones of your skin and your blood
circulation will also determine, with the color used, what the
final result will be after healing. Because pigment is placed
under the skin, it is affected by the naturally changing tones
of the epidermis, such as from sun. Cosmetics are placed on top
of the epidermis to cover. The second visit allows for fill-ins
of dots lost, color adjustment and shape adjustment.
All
procedures will appear dark and larger than desired for the
first five to eight days. This is because a scab or crust forms
and lasts until the skin heals on the surface. When the scab has
shed and the swelling has gone down, the procedure will look
lighter, thinner and very natural. This is not as horrible as it
sounds. The result will be beautiful.
Additionally,
you may experience light bruising, tenderness or some
puffiness. Usually this would be caused from something in your
system, the thickness of the skin, the location of your nerve
endings, or the stretching of the skin and the pressure from
the hand.
Eyelashes
or eyebrows may be sticking together in the morning. This is
nothing to worry about.
No
matter what area you have done, it is a very delicate
procedure. The pigment is just barely implanted under the
skin's surface. It would be very easy to 'wipe off' these dots
of pigment. They must have time to heal over.
